Immortality

Perhaps the ultimate goal of the dead apostles and overall theme of Tsukihime. No one is perfectly immortal: The True Ancestors can continue to exist eternally, but they don't have the freedom to do what they like. The Dead Apostles can stay alive forever, but only by feeding on others' blood. In the eyes of Shiki, everything in the world is going to die one day or another. So even if doesn't have any meaning, why not just enjoy life and have fun for now.
