Jinan Sougen

A doctor who's an old friend of Shiki's father. He also seems to be an acquaintance to Makihisa. Being a former member of an orgnaization who montiored the Demon Hybrids, he knows a lot about the Demon Blood and what not. He's retired now and running an informal infirmary. He has been looking after Shiki as his personal doctor. Understanding where Shiki's anemia comes from, he's been maintaining health by oriental treatments. Also a teacher of medicine to Kohaku.

According to Shiki, he's a mad doctor. Although he's dirty mouthed, he has a strong sense of loyality and obligation. He never told Shiki about his accursed real family. He even knows Miyako Arima when she followed Shiki to his infirmary. The reason Miyako is so obsessed with Chinese martial arts might be because he taught it to her...
